QuickBlock

Introduction

The QuickBlock window shows all the sites you've visited recently, sorted beginning with the most recent. Some of these sites you may not have visited explicitly--they may be advertiser sites that inserted ads in the sites you did visit. You can quickly select the sites you don't recognize (or recognize as ad sites) by clicking on them, and then click the "Block selected sites" button. This will block these sites from sending images to you (and from storing information about you). In this way, QuickBlock lets you quickly remove the ads from a web page you've just visited. After you open a page, just press "Ctrl+Shift+Q" and the QuickBlock window will appear; then you can block advertiser sites listed there.

The List

The sites shown in the QuickBlock window are all the sites you've visited recently that are not blocked. You can then easily select the ad sites that are not yet blocked and block them; you can't "un-block" a site, however. For this, you should open the Privacy Control Center.
